Answer: Your download links are the PC-Diag CD Creator which was emailed along with your serial numbers to the address you entered into our shopping cart when you first ordered. Did you check your SPAM filters?   • Question: What is the PC-Diag CD Creator?  Answer: This is your download and ISO builder. Please first completely and carefully read your Windows or DOS Getting Started document. Secondly be sure to completely and carefully read your Windows or DOS Quick Reference Guide document.
  • Question: Why do I need an unlock code?  Answer: Please completely and carefully read your Windows or DOS Getting Started Document the explanation is completely broken down for you there regarding PC-Diag licensing.
  • Question: why does my PC-Diag USB drive keep saying "There is no authenticated USB drive plugged in the computer" There are a few things that could cause this to happen.

       ANSWER1: Did you reboot your computer after you installed the software with the drive inserted, you need to reboot.

       ANSWER 2: If you take the drive in and out of the port while your working with the software this will happen as well.

      ANSWER 3: You can do this as well. If the message says "There is no authenticated USB drive plugged in the computer do the following click on    Close. On the next screen click on Exit then open PC-Diag again it should be fine this time if not repeat the procedure.


  • Question: I can't find my Windows or DOS Getting Started document or my Windows or DOS Quick Reference Guide document. Answer:  If you can't locate your DOS or Windows Getting Started Documents, DOS or Windows Quick Reference Guides  or Motherboard Test Card Manuals you can find the links to them below. Additional links and  information can also be found on this page further below.
  • Question: How do I find out what a Motherboard test card code means that is not listed in the manual.  Answer: When your shipment arrived there was a sheet of paper that came with it. On this paper we have listed additional resources instructions and links that will completely break down for you how to find additional codes and operate your test card.
  • Question: I'm receiving a msstdfmt.dll error message. Answer: There are several things that could cause this to happen we are giving you several ways of approaching it here. Windows errors related to msstdfmt.dll . If Windows is unable to run applications due to a .dll error, this .dll may be missing or you may have registry error. Such errors can heavily influence the performance of your PC.
  1. Copy the dll file to the windows\system32 directory and run cmd as the administrator and type regsvr32 c:\windows\sytem32\msstdfmt.dll

    or 1)    Place the msstdfmt.dll file into windows folder then

    2)    Click Start-> Run and type: regsvr32 C:\Windows\msstdfmt.dll , then hit Run

    (replace C:\Windows\msstdfmt.dll with the correct path where the DLL is)

Please be sure to include as many details as possible incomplete Trouble Tickets make it extremely difficult for us to troubleshoot your problem. We require completed reports in order to assist us in expediting your inquiry.

VERY IMPORTANT SETTING UP AN AACOUNT FOR A TROUBLE TICKET PLEASE READ: When your order was first placed you had two check out options. Option one was set up an account. Option two was check out anonymously. If you attempt to log in and have no account then you checked out anonymously and probably didn't realize it. We have many customers that select this option.

If you have an account you can log in and fill out a Trouble Ticket. If you discover you can't fill out a Trouble Ticket then you will have to set up an account in order to place one. PLEASE BE ABSOLUTELY SURE TO CHECK OFF THE FIELD AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TROUBLE TICKET FORM SO YOU RECEIVE A REPLY TO YOUR TICKET VIA EMAIL. IF YOU DO NOT SELCET THIS OPTION THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO LOG BACK INTO YOUR ACCOUNT TO VIEW THE RESPONSES FROM OUR SUPPORT TEAM.

If your code is NOT LISTED in our manual, chances are you have a newer motherboard. Visit the manufacture of your BIOS and download the manual of your BIOS direct. In most cases, where the last post code is displayed on the POST card is generally the problem area.

IMPORTANT: For additional post codes not listed in our test card manuals: Please be sure to research your BIOS maker and know the VERSION of the BIOS that you are troubleshooting. If you are working with AWARD bios, then you need to visit the AWARD web site and download the post code manual provided DIRECTLY from the manufacture. Manufacturers normally have the downloads broken down into revision number, AWARD version 3.5 post code manual etc…, your manufacture will have a better explanation of the problem and code that is displayed on the test card.

NOTE: The codes that are displayed on the test cards are not codes that we programmed into the test cards, the codes you see displayed come directly from the BIOS manufacturer.

For Shipping Inquires: All on-line orders received before 12:00pm EST that are shipable will usually ship the same same business day, if the customer has paid for Priority or Express mail. Customers that select FREE shipping it may take 48 to 64hrs. or longer before your order is shipped. Orders shipped Priority Mail within the USA should be received in 2 to 3 business days. Express mail in the US is usually overnight, but may take 2 days depending on where you live in the USA.
